Comment

One of the best food experience ever, we loved the food, unique beautiful and exquisite; First time ever tried raw beef, and strangely it taste nothing like beef, it's chewy and tender slippery in mouth, taste like sea food and again it is beef.

The service was outstanding, the waitress are both patient and beautiful inside and out, they show gentle and elegance in their speech and their action, they will slide the paper door slowly when enter while kneeling showing respect to their guest, it is a experience that i will not forget.

Sunny Harbour Seafood Restaurant -- Tom

I went this restaurant with my friends, because this is near my friend's home.
Snow Pear in Rock Sugar Soup
This is a traditional Chinese sweet juice. This soup made by water, pear and rock sugar, good for protect throat, when I was child, my mom would cooked it when I cough. In this restaurant, I can feel a little my mom's taste, but a little bit sweet for me.
 BBQ Duck
Looks very nice, red skins of the duck are appetizing, the duck is delicate. The duck is better than lots of restaurants.
 Crab with Shallot and Ginger
Crab is a delicious seafood, and this restaurant is a seafood restaurant, so I think this crab should not bad, however this crab is bad. Expensive and not fresh, very disappointment.

Hurricanes Grill Top Ryde -- Jonathan

Hurricanes Grill Top Ryde

Do you want to try the good quality ribs? You can find the best ribs in Sydney at Hurricanes Grill. The closest outlet to Macquarie university is Top Ryde. They offer Lamb, Beef and Pork Ribs in racks! I went to the one in Top Ryde and tried the Pork Ribs!

                       Hurricane Grill Ribs
-Pork Ribs served with chips or baked potato
Price: Half $39/ Full $52 Rack

Comments
The Ribs were Amazing as I mentioned on the top (best in Sydney)!! The Flavour from the sauce goes very well with the meat and the eat MELTS off the bone! As for the portion size, the rib rack itself is very big! Even half a rack is enough for 2 people. With Potato or chips on the side,  it helps complete any persons appetite! It is well worth the price for its quality!

Red Lantern Hot Pot -- Tom

This is a self-service Hot-Pot restaurant.
The mini Hot-Pot is $35 for per person. The most important things for Hot-Pot are soup and source. There are four famous soups, the spicy hot soup, the tomato beef soup, the golden pumpkin soup and the three delicacies soup. there are also some common soup, for example, bone soup and seafood soup.

After soup, try the source. There are lots of things, you can do it yourself. And there are a special source at the top, this source is very good, whatever you put in your bowl, add this one, the source become much much better.

There are some bone soup rice-noodle pots, too. I like the sea food one, the soup and rice-noodle are very delicious.
If you add $3.5, you can get 3 small salad.

BMCP Paramatta -- Jonathan

BMCP Paramatta

BMCP is a nice argileh lounge/ cafe in paramatta! You can go there to hang out with friends and also have some argileh. There are also a nice range of desserts from the cafe section. When I went there tried the chocolate crepe with ice cream.

                    Chocolate Crepe and cake

-Chocolate crepe drizzled with chocolate and strawberry sauce
                                           w ice-cream
                                          -Price: $24

Comments
The desserts were pretty good after a heavy dinner. The prices are reasonable but the choice matters as well. The ice cream goes really well with chocolate and strawberry syrup. The flavour combination of the sauces is heavenly and the crepes soft texture makes this dish a real delight!. For this portion size, I think its a bit small but the quality is amazing.

As for the other dish the chocolate fudge spilt on the cake makes a nice milky texture and the strawberry adds a nice crunchy feel when eating it together. Truly a good pair!

Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine -- Xujun Zhang

Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine

Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine is a little restaurant located at the Lemon Grove Food Court in Chatswood. It is so little that it does not even has its own tables and seats. However, if you are after some Chinese food, this little restaurant would be your first choice as you can find the most authentic Northern Chinese Cuisine there.

Despite all the food from Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine is very delicious, its hand-made noodles is the most famous. Below are two of the best noodles you can find in there.

Lamb Noodle
                                            - Price: $13

Pork Noodle
                                            - Price: $12

Besides noodles and other food, there is one more thing that people love to coming back to Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine for second time, which is its spicy sauce. With it in your noodles, the taste can be brought to another level which you cannot forget and resist.

The vogue cafe DY

The vogue cafe

Bacon steak burger with chips

Chicken Risotto

Chocolate milk shake

Comment :
This cafe is famous for its various kinds of drinks. It has chocolate milk shake and other fruit juice with snacks topping. I prefer wedges than fried chips. This cafe is located in the corner of macquarie center, it is a little bit hard to find. The choclate milk shake is good to take photo but it is too sweet. The chicken risotto is dry. The cafe do not have many seats, they always have long waiting line during lunch time. The location is near car park so it is very cold and noisy. People who like quiet place may not choose this one.

Spinach noodles

Three cups of chicken

Beijing roast duck grasping cake

Fried vegetable

Dan Dan noodles

This restaurant is the second store in Sydney. The first one is located in CBD. In order to cater to the tastes of foreigners, the taste of food is not very spicy. I recommend the  Beijing roast duck grasping cake. The crisp cake outside with Beijing roast duck inside. The sauce is very special and delicious. The Dan Dan noodles with pork cutlet is a little bit greasy.

Ippudo Macquarie Centre -- Jonathan

Ippudo Macquarie Centre

If you are looking for quality Japanese food, Ippudo is the right place to indulge in the rich flavours of the Japanese culture. This restaurant mainly serves ramen but a great variety of it. Here is one of my favourite one.

Akamaru Chashu

-akamaru with simmered pork belly
Price: $21

Toppings can be added for extra cost.

Comments
Ippudo's Ramen in my opinion are not just the best in Macquarie but in Sydney. The Quality to Price ratio is very good and the portion sizes are just right to fill an average person up. The presentation of the  dishes when serve are always pin point and pleasing to the eye. The combination of flavours from the soup base, pork and the miso ball explodes in your mouth. Be sure to try this dish the next time you go to ippudo!

The recipe for success is simple: great food made with quality ingredients, friendly service, exceptional value for money and signature range of original thin pressed pizzas.

Ryo's -- Xujun Zhang

Ryo's

Sometimes, size of the restaurant represents the quality of the food. However, Ryo's is the absolute exception of this rule. This little orange Japanese restaurant leads you into the culture of ramen. In Ryo's, you can have many different types of ramen as there are different noodles, different soups and different garnishes to choose for a bowl of ramen.

If you somehow get tired of just having ramen, which theoretically you won't, there are other types of food that Ryo's is also famous of, such as pork rice ball, curry rice and fried chicken, etc.

Following is my favourite ramen in Ryo's.

Soy Sauce Flavour Ramen with Roast Pork
                                  - Price: $11.5

This is one of the most famous ramen in Ryo's. The chewy mouthfeel of the noodle combined with the thick flavour of the base soup, followed by a big bite of the roast pork brings people to satisfaction.

In addition to the taste of the food, the quality of service is another aspect that makes customers feel comfortable in Ryo's. Customers can ask to change the level of flavour according to their will. So, do not hesitate to go their and have a bowl of ramen!

Simple Noodles -- Xujun Zhang

Simple Noodles

Simple Noodles is an Asian restaurant in Macquarie Shopping Centre. It provides a variety of Asian cuisine that is adapted to the local taste; therefore, not only Chinese people, but also local people will be attracted to this very restaurant with tasty food.

                                                    Combination Fry Noodle
                           - beef, pork, mushroom, prawn, vegetable and fry noodle
                                        - Price: $15

Beef & Egg Rice
                                             - Price: $14.5

There are lots of delicious dishes you can find from Simple Noodles. The above two dishes are two of the best I think people should try first, because they are really awesome and even can be the symbol of this restaurant. There are one more good news for students: 10% discount can be applied by showing your student card when making orders.

The Foodie House -- Jonathan

The Foodie House

The Foodie house is a relatively new restaurant that opened in late 2014 with the coming of the extension of Macquarie Centre. They Provide Great Vietnamese dishes and other asian delicacies. Here is one of my favourite dishes, the Roasted Duck Noodle Soup.

Roasted Duck Noodle Soup

-with fresh egg noodles and roasted duck
Price: $14.90

Comments
I have tried many other Vietnamese places around Macquarie University and personally I think the Foodie House delivers the best combination of flavours in their soups and for a decent price. The portion size is also enough for an average person.

The style of the restaurant is very modern and yet capturing aspects of a food house in Vietnam mimicking the experience you can get when eating in Vietnam.
