Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine -- Xujun Zhang

Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine

Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine is a little restaurant located at the Lemon Grove Food Court in Chatswood. It is so little that it does not even has its own tables and seats. However, if you are after some Chinese food, this little restaurant would be your first choice as you can find the most authentic Northern Chinese Cuisine there.

Despite all the food from Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine is very delicious, its hand-made noodles is the most famous. Below are two of the best noodles you can find in there.

Lamb Noodle
                                            - Price: $13

Pork Noodle
                                            - Price: $12

Besides noodles and other food, there is one more thing that people love to coming back to Pu Tao Yuan Peking Cuisine for second time, which is its spicy sauce. With it in your noodles, the taste can be brought to another level which you cannot forget and resist.

Overall experience was pleasant, the food was not bad, the service was good ( My friend was telling me a story and he used a lot of hand gesture, the waitress thought it was a signal for her and came over several times =P) , also we did heard the manager scream at one of the employee...

The vogue cafe DY

The vogue cafe

Bacon steak burger with chips

Chicken Risotto

Chocolate milk shake

Comment :
This cafe is famous for its various kinds of drinks. It has chocolate milk shake and other fruit juice with snacks topping. I prefer wedges than fried chips. This cafe is located in the corner of macquarie center, it is a little bit hard to find. The choclate milk shake is good to take photo but it is too sweet. The chicken risotto is dry. The cafe do not have many seats, they always have long waiting line during lunch time. The location is near car park so it is very cold and noisy. People who like quiet place may not choose this one.

Spinach noodles

Three cups of chicken

Beijing roast duck grasping cake

Fried vegetable

Dan Dan noodles

This restaurant is the second store in Sydney. The first one is located in CBD. In order to cater to the tastes of foreigners, the taste of food is not very spicy. I recommend the  Beijing roast duck grasping cake. The crisp cake outside with Beijing roast duck inside. The sauce is very special and delicious. The Dan Dan noodles with pork cutlet is a little bit greasy.

Ippudo Macquarie Centre -- Jonathan

Ippudo Macquarie Centre

If you are looking for quality Japanese food, Ippudo is the right place to indulge in the rich flavours of the Japanese culture. This restaurant mainly serves ramen but a great variety of it. Here is one of my favourite one.

Akamaru Chashu

-akamaru with simmered pork belly
Price: $21

Toppings can be added for extra cost.

Comments
Ippudo's Ramen in my opinion are not just the best in Macquarie but in Sydney. The Quality to Price ratio is very good and the portion sizes are just right to fill an average person up. The presentation of the  dishes when serve are always pin point and pleasing to the eye. The combination of flavours from the soup base, pork and the miso ball explodes in your mouth. Be sure to try this dish the next time you go to ippudo!

Bondi Pizza -- Tom

From our humble beginnings at Bondi Beach the restaurants have quickly gained a reputation as one of Sydney's most popular casual dining restaurant venues. The recipe for success is simple: great food made with quality ingredients, friendly service, exceptional value for money and signature range of original thin pressed pizzas.

Whether it’s a large family outing, catching up with friends or an intimate dinner for two, Bondi Pizza provides the perfect warm, modern and relaxed dining atmosphere, whatever the occasion.

Grilled Atlantic salmon with a side of our creamy Caesar sauce, fried capers & a lemon wedge served with fries & a green salad. (NB: For ‘Gluten Free’ orders shoe string fries will be replaced with a larger green salad).

GRILLED CHILLI PRAWN
Marinated chilli prawns, roasted capsicum, basil, roma tomatoes & *pesto served with a side of chilli sauce.

Ryo's -- Xujun Zhang

Ryo's

Sometimes, size of the restaurant represents the quality of the food. However, Ryo's is the absolute exception of this rule. This little orange Japanese restaurant leads you into the culture of ramen. In Ryo's, you can have many different types of ramen as there are different noodles, different soups and different garnishes to choose for a bowl of ramen.

If you somehow get tired of just having ramen, which theoretically you won't, there are other types of food that Ryo's is also famous of, such as pork rice ball, curry rice and fried chicken, etc.

Following is my favourite ramen in Ryo's.

Soy Sauce Flavour Ramen with Roast Pork
                                  - Price: $11.5

This is one of the most famous ramen in Ryo's. The chewy mouthfeel of the noodle combined with the thick flavour of the base soup, followed by a big bite of the roast pork brings people to satisfaction.

In addition to the taste of the food, the quality of service is another aspect that makes customers feel comfortable in Ryo's. Customers can ask to change the level of flavour according to their will. So, do not hesitate to go their and have a bowl of ramen!
